30.000 / 40.000 Pound

15,000 Pound per annum

  • ATTN no further scholarship applied * includes tuition, accommodation, food, laundry, most activities.
  • Does not include deposit (refundable on course completion), guardianship if required and/or administration fee.
  • The school fees per annum to be paid by the family for Englanders Scholarship winners 2023 will not be lower than 15,000 Pound.

Scholarship guaranteed for

    •  One or each of the two years of an IGCSE course.

    •  One or each of the two years of an A-level course.

    • One or each of the two years of an IB course.

    •  One Year Foundation Programme

HOW TO APPLY

1) Start: apply online by sending to esba@crown.al

  •  passport
  • last academic year grades translated
  • any internationally recognized English test result obtained *applications received after April 30th 16:00 CET will not be considered

2 ) Be present at preliminary meeting

  • with your parent or legal guardian
  • sign application form and related documents

3) Exam day within a week

  • Present yourself with your passport,
  • The fee of the ESBA test is  100 Pound to be paid at the Bank account of Englanders CR. Upon test completion, on the test day 50% of the ESBA test fee will be refunded.

4) Know your result and move ahead

  •  make a preliminary interview with the board
  • If successful you will be awarded a Certificate of Scholarship
  •  you will be presented with a school that matches your aspirations

5) Final Actions

  • apply to the British school and achieve conditional offer
  • complete conditions of the offer
  • pass the interview with the UK boarding school
  •  present actual grades upon completion of academic year in Albania
  • prepare documents for visa application
  • apply for a visa

The competition works on a ‘first come first served’ basis as places are limited to only 30 contestants who compete for 10 Englanders scholarships.

The competition includes some rounds of transparent selections including Maths and English tests followed by academic interviews.

University Foundation? Pse studentët Shqiptarë detyrohen t’a bëjnë?

Tradicionalisht e kemi parë Foundation programme si ura mes shkollës së mesme dhe studimeve universitare. Në fakt mund të jetë kjo ose dhe viti lidhes mes një Bachelori dhe Masteri. Studimet janë plotësuese dhe synojnë të mbushin çdo hendek akademik.

A duhet që studentët Shqiptarë të bejnë një vit të tillë?

Kjo mënyrë studimi është e përshtatshme për disa kandidatë të cilët janë të vonuar në planifikimin e studimeve Universitare. Gjithashtu fakt është që përbën një zgjidhje komode dhe relativisht të sigurt në kontekstin edukativ në rastin e ndryshimit të vendit ku studiohet.

A vlen një Foundation degree? Sigurisht që po!

Për t’a sqaruar më mirë duhet t’a shtrojmë pyetjen ndryshe: për cilin nivel studimi dhe sa vlen?

Foundation në UK zgjat tipikisht 3 semestra, mund të bëhet në një kolegj apo Universitet, nis në Shtator dhe përfshin 3 lëndë bazë plus Anglisht (ESL) në rastin që përgjithësisht IELTS është nën nivelin Academic 6.5.

Në çdo rast University Foundation bëhet një vit përpara Bachelor dhe synon të përshtatë njohuritë dhe pritshmëritë e studentëve dhe të shkollës përkatësisht.

Ajo çfarë mund të përbëjë të renë ose informacionin disi të rezervuar është:

  • University Foundation mund të jetë shumë mirë një zëvendesues i vitit të 3 gjimnaz në Shqipëri, pra mund t’a nisni që pa mbaruar shkollën e mesme.
  • Foundation mund të nisë në Shtator, Nëntor ose Janar pra opsioni i 2 semestrave është tërësisht i mundur
  • Një Foundation Course është pothuajse i papranuar në fusha specifike studimi si psh Mjekësia.
  • Për studentët shumë të përgatitur Foundation Year mund të shkëmbehet me International Year One, një vit që është në funksion të studentëve internacional të cilët mbas kompletimit me sukses të këtij viti mund të progresojnë në vitin e 2-të Bachelor.
  • Master’s Foundation gjithashtu është opsioni i studentëve të cilët kanë mbaruar një Bachelor në vendin e tyre. Ky program është i përshtatshëm për studentët më arritje akademik nën nivelin e kërkuar nga institucioni universitar i përzgjedhur, ata studentë që kanë disa vite shkëputje nga akademia apo/dhe me vështirësi në gjuhën Angleze. Përfundimi me sukses i Master Foundation (mes 60% dhe 70% arritje pozitive)mundëson që aplikanti të ketë sukses në aplikimet për Master.
